Illinois Institute of Technology – a demanding, math and science oriented school on the South Side of Chicago – requires students to complete two Interprofessional Projects before graduation. IPROs, as they’re known, bring together undergrads and grad students from different academic disciplines to complete a task as a team. Recent IPROs have ranged from designing a new football stadium for the Chicago Bears to improving automated patient monitoring systems.
