This small, selective college located in the “frozen tundra” of the Maine “not far from civilization” offers a great liberal arts education. The “wealthy” students at Colby College “work intensely, party with determination, work out religiously,” and rarely leave campus when school is in session. A unique “Jan Plan” allows students to study nontraditional subjects or intern during the month of January.
