Bennington College is a small, progressive, very arts-oriented and “creative”
liberal arts college that offers students the opportunity to put together
their own programs. Classes are more akin to intimate seminars and instead
of grades and tests, Benningtonians receive written evaluations of their
work. Nearly weekly theme parties provide the bulk of campus entertainment.
