MP3
Rippers or CD Grabbers read and extract raw audio files from a music CD.
The files that MP3 Rippers create are large Wav format files. After ripping
a cd into wav format, you will have to convert the wave into .mp3 format
with an mp3 encoder. The main major difference between the various MP3 rippers,
is the support for various hardware, the speed of ripping, and the sound
quality of the generated wav file. mp3 Rippers are sometimes referred to
as cd grabbers or digital audio extraction (DAE's) but we prefer mp3 Ripper.

CD->Wav
MP3 Ripper mp3
 |
| Version
: 1.01 |
| Size
: 18 Kb(thats all) |
| CD2WAV
is a CD-DA (Digital Audio) grabber with an advanced jitter correction
algorithm. It works in Win95 dos box with the default IDE drivers
while all the other programs failed. Other programs work only if Win95
protected mode drivers are disabled and DOS cd-rom drivers are loaded.
It is because Win95 protected mode IDE drivers have a bug that results
in a poor quality of the sound read by the programs other than CD2WAV.
CD2wav gets around this and adds jitter correction to boot. |

the fly, can read and edit your CD track lists, supports drag and
drop. A nice GUI interface. |

CDCOPY MP3 Ripper mp3 Encoder
 |
| Version
: 4.743 |
| Size
: 2 MB |
| The
cool thing about CDCOPY mp3 ripper and mp3 encoder is the number of
file types and formats it can encode after ripping. It can create:
MP3, WAV, AU, VQF, RA, REAL, and several other formats as well.) Also
support for CDDB and a cool dl tunes out to the Diamond Rio Portable.
The interface and speed aren't going to win awards, but the overal
system does quite a few things other ripper encoder systems will not
- its worth the dl time to check out.. |
